Terms of Service

By using GradeDigest you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

GradeDigest is a school progress reporting service that connects to Canvas LMS using credentials you provide, generates AI-assisted reports, and delivers them to email addresses you specify. GradeDigest is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instructure, Inc. or any school district.

You are responsible for: • Using GradeDigest only with Canvas accounts you are authorized to access (i.e., as a parent or legal guardian) • Complying with your school district's acceptable use policies • Keeping your Canvas account credentials secure and not sharing your GradeDigest account with others • Ensuring the email addresses you add as report recipients have consented to receive reports • The accuracy of your account information

GradeDigest accesses Canvas LMS via OAuth2 authorization granted by you, at your direction, on your behalf. You represent that your use of Canvas data through GradeDigest complies with your school district's policies and with applicable law. GradeDigest is not responsible for any changes to Canvas API access that may affect the service.

Report summaries are generated using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content is clearly labeled in every report. AI summaries may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Do not rely solely on AI summaries for important decisions. Always verify information directly in Canvas. GradeDigest makes no warranty regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content.

GradeDigest is a paid subscription service. Billing is handled by Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

GradeDigest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that report data will always match what appears in Canvas (particularly where Canvas restricts API access for certain courses). Grade data accuracy depends entirely on what Canvas exposes via its API.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GradeDigest's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings at gradedigest.com.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 30 days' notice.
